  4. That looks like a bridge I once crossed in New Zealand, only yours is wider!

    TALKING SHADOWS?

    Imagine a shadow could talk
    In whisper or rumble or squawk;
    Just what would it say
    To make you go, “Hey!
    You’re just a chip off the old block!”?

  9. Barmouth is very picturesque spot, I recognised the rail bridge immediately having spent many a happy hour in the vicinity, like camping under Cadr Idris a few miles south.

    Good to see you paddling on the Welsh side of the Irish Sea (I had to say that didn't I ? :>3 )

  12. Was there a few weeks ago Molly Fishin'.

    One of the most spectacular drives up through Wales over 'the mountain' which was covered in beautiful purple Rhodedendron bushes everywhere you looked.

    Nice town too.

  14. Thanks for your comments. Barmouth and all along the west coast is lovely. We're very lucky!
    Chris - the purple rhodies are pretty but they are also very invasive and have become a bit of a menace as they kill all the other plantation in their path
    Becky - yes it's me. The photos were taken a few years ago on one of those single use throw away cameras. They look a bit strange 'cos I scanned them in.
