Movers and Shakers

I have a big box of old photos stashed away that never quite got sorted. Do you hoard old photos? The digital camera has saved a planet of trees and space but isn't nearly as interesting as rummaging through all those yellowed old snaps you'd almost forgotten, don't you think?  The above photograph was taken during the mid-eighties of a 4 x 4 demo. The JCB digger is clearing a track up the hill ready for the action. Do you like the shadow of the Man-in-Charge - cool isn't he!
I'm connecting with Shadow Shot Sunday on this one.

There she blows.

  3. It seems like the digital photos, once on the computer, are forgotten.

  4. Because of digital and the amount of pictures you can take today, photos are not as precious as once before. The one good thing though is that most people's computers are set up to play a slide show of all the pictures stored when you turn it on. I do enjoy that.

  5. Great shadow shots for the day! Love the first one! All of my photos are on my computer, but I can and do look at some of them every day and they are so easily accessible! Hope your weekend is going well! Enjoy!

  8. Digital is wonderful, as long as you can remember where they are and what's what.

  9. As you can tell from my blog, I'm not much of a photographer, I never seem to have my camera with me! What photos I do have were taken by others and I too keep them in photo boxes, but I must say I do love looking through them all every once and awhile. Come to think of it I don't have many photos of my family around my home in picture frames... and no photos in my wallet...what's wrong we me?
    Love the shadow shots Molly.

  12. First thing I thought when I saw this pic...great shadow shot!
No, the digital camera doesn't provide the entertainment that going through old photos provides. Mostly for me, it is old terrible shots....ha! I love being able to delete on my camera now and save only what I want. I need to do a major throw-out, but alas, it is too captivating to see all the memories that go into the old photo boxes.

Kath - I think I'm a bit long in the tooth for that one :0) O/H took the header photo when he went to a recent farm sale and it just caught my eye. I've no idea who actually bought it
