Delores over at Feathered Nest put a brilliant blog up on 'Wondering ......what if' ...'
And all my shallow little mind could come up with was this advert from way back. Remember it?
And that's just for those of us who've still got our own teeth.
Happy St David's Day, Bach.
Happy st David's day to you too x
ReplyDeleteThere's a blast from the past.
ReplyDeleteDydd Gwyl Dewis Hapus Molly!
ReplyDeleteBrusha, brusha, brusha, get the new Ipana. Brought to you by Bucky Beaver and his big toothsome smile. And, white rabbit.
ReplyDeleteOur daffs are barely showing through the grass, Molly, but I did buy some leeks for soup today...... Now I'm off to bed with that dratted jingle running through my head. :-)
ReplyDeleteConfession time - the daffys in my header pic are from last year. This year's have barely broke through the ground though one or two are in bud. That jingle does seem to have that effect, must admit. Will try and put another post up soon to send it to where it belongs.
DeleteHi Molly, your daffodils in the header are beautiful. I saw some lovely crocuses today. Have a great weekend. I could not watch the video because my internet is crazy. xoxo, olive
ReplyDeleteI remember that commercial well. Now that it is in my head again, I will probably be singing it for days.
ReplyDeleteMy daffodils are up, but I am sure I will not see a flower for three more weeks. They usually bloom right after the beginning of spring.
Yes, leek soup for us too on the 1st. Otherwise not too many other (part) Welshmen to celebrate with here!
ReplyDeletewow hope that toothpaste is 'mint' flavoured - just dug some leeks out of the lottie - leek tagliatelle for tea - love your daffs - see you soon - Jane xx
ReplyDeleteO my God, they really were awful, those old ads.
ReplyDeleteGolly, that takes me back - a belated happy St. David's Day.
ReplyDeleteGoodness, does that bring back memories!
ReplyDeleteI have never had leek soup. Or leek of any kind for that matter. I didn't realize you followed Delores as well. Small world :)
