After what seems like an endless winter of non-achievement, today I finally got round to painting my kitchen, resealed the grotty bit between the worktop and painted the tiles with tile paint. Don't you feel good when you complete a job. Must be Spring or something.
It looks beautiful....I love the way the knobs match the countertop and the built in drainboard.
ReplyDeleteI put the units together last year (with a little bit of help from O/H and big son :)
DeleteIt's almost like having a new kitchen. Well done.
ReplyDeleteJoanne, thanks - I do feel quite chuffed now it's done.
DeleteIt looks fabulous! And now that it's done you probably have time on your hands, so maybe you could come and do mine?
ReplyDeleteHa Ha.
Nice job, Molly. The good thing about the harsh elements and being cooped inside during the months of winter is that we tend to get projects done. We don't have the sunshine and warm weather to distract our attention. It looks very good and now you can check that off your list and enjoy your new kitchen.
ReplyDeleteIt's lovely and fresh looking. Once you get round to it, even though it is a lot of work, it feels so good though, doesn;t it?
ReplyDeleteIt is lovely Molly - I love the whole look.
ReplyDeleteGreat colour. The Amish would be proud of you!
ReplyDeleteLooks great Molly! I know the feeling!
ReplyDeleteLooks lovely! It's always a good feeling when a job is completed!
ReplyDeleteooh la la, I love the look. It's so simple and beautiful, nice job Molly. I'm itching to begin a few projects around here too, but the windows need to be open and the weather is simply not cooperating. happy week to you Molly.
ReplyDeleteWow Molly I knew you could do it and now that job is completed you do not need to feel guilty anymore when you skip off outside into those tunnels - take care - Jane x
ReplyDeleteWish mine looked that clear,my windowsill has far too much on it but I am sorting though in my head what has to go lol.You did a great job, looks like it will be so easy to look after.
ReplyDeleteWay to go! It does feel good to cross something off the list doesn't it?
ReplyDeleteAnd it looks fabulous! I finally have a clean fridge, but that's as far as I've got. If only I could decide what really needs to be done, perhaps I could do it...
ReplyDeleteOh that does look clean and smart, Molly. I'm afraid the miserable weather has deterred me from any DIY or spring-cleaning. I'm waiting for some sunshine to show up the dust and grime and spur me into action. :-)
ReplyDeleteAm loving the cupboards...very new england
ReplyDeletefinest B&Q circa 2006, except that the cupboard doors warped and we had to straighten them by laying them flat out with a brick either end and a weight underneath in the centre
