D-I-Y ing

After what seems like an endless winter of non-achievement, today I finally got round to painting my kitchen, resealed the grotty bit between the worktop and painted the tiles with tile paint. Don't you feel good when you complete a job. Must be Spring or something.

  1. It looks beautiful....I love the way the knobs match the countertop and the built in drainboard.

  3. It looks fabulous! And now that it's done you probably have time on your hands, so maybe you could come and do mine?

  4. Nice job, Molly. The good thing about the harsh elements and being cooped inside during the months of winter is that we tend to get projects done. We don't have the sunshine and warm weather to distract our attention. It looks very good and now you can check that off your list and enjoy your new kitchen.

  5. It's lovely and fresh looking. Once you get round to it, even though it is a lot of work, it feels so good though, doesn;t it?

  14. And it looks fabulous! I finally have a clean fridge, but that's as far as I've got. If only I could decide what really needs to be done, perhaps I could do it...

  15. Oh that does look clean and smart, Molly. I'm afraid the miserable weather has deterred me from any DIY or spring-cleaning. I'm waiting for some sunshine to show up the dust and grime and spur me into action. :-)

    1. finest B&Q circa 2006, except that the cupboard doors warped and we had to straighten them by laying them flat out with a brick either end and a weight underneath in the centre
