We called in at the Coed y Dinas stores and Garden Centre yesterday. There was a 'Farmer's Market' with stalls outside the Garden Centre entrance. Well actually there were only three stalls and the stallholders who braved the cold, looked perished. It was raining and blustery. Like us, most people were walking straight past, diving into the warmth of the store. Then the sun came out throwing shadows across the cars and the parking spaces. Why is it that you always feel like buying more when the sun shines?
The sort of day where the wind and the sun, battle for supremacy.
A day for loving the view when the sun was winning
and soaking it all up
Happy Shadow Shot Sunday
Lovely photos Molly - a similar day here. Quite hot in the sun out of the wind but the wind feels as though it is full of ice.
ReplyDeleteWonderful shadow shots, Molly, and we've been having the same kind of days here in Seattle -- comfortable until the wind starts to blow!! Have a great Sunday!!
ReplyDeleteInteresting series of photos! And the little one in the last photo is a cutie!
ReplyDeleteGreat photos Molly. You are right, I am more apt to open my wallet when the sun is shining.
ReplyDeleteFences makes beautiful shadow.

Have a blessed Sunday.
Very nice photos, and I love that vase of flowers in your header.
ReplyDeleteWe're having similar weather downunder, sunny with wind, but now the winds are warming up. Great for drying the washing, but dries out the skin a lot.
lovely autumnal colours...and beautiful patterns...
ReplyDeleteI think the kitty has a right at this time of year to soak up all the sun she can get!
ReplyDeleteNature Paints Shadows
Splendid photos, Molly, and I like Coed y Dinas too. :-) At least you didn't get snow like the south-west.....
ReplyDeleteEverything is better when the sun shines. Love the way the shadow of the fence wraps around the back end of that car..(yours?). Kitty has the idea...just soak up the sun. We were in the bank the other day (one of our few sunny ones lately) and I said to the hubs "do you think anyone would notice if I just laid down in this warm patch on the floor?" He didn't think it was a good idea lol.
ReplyDeleteeverything is just better when the sun is shining...lovely series of photos molly!!!
ReplyDeleteyes, it takes a strong sun to create strong, brilliant shadows like these. I like the fence shadows, and your kitty cat. kitties will find a spot to soak up the sun.
ReplyDeletethese are wonderful shadow shots Molly. I hope the sun shines for you this coming week.
