Who's having pancakes tomorrow ? Grand daughter made this one :-
One ready made pancake in microwave for 40 seconds
One tin of strawberries gently heated
Half a tin of squirty cream
I used to bring Fastnaughts to work on Shrove Tuesday. It is a German-American tradition in Pennsylvania to eat these for Mardi Gras. They are delicious and are loaded with calories. I put on a pound just thinking about them.
..definitely participating here Molly! We had the cajun version of celebrating Shrove Tuesday (Mardi Gras) yesterday - Shrimp Creole...so tomorrow will be the real deal with pancakes, the crepe version not the american style pancake - although I do like them too! All rolled up with lemon and sugar!
Thanks all for bearing with me and braving through the black and white word maze. Really appreciate it. Kath I bet the Brillo sales don't half shoot up on pancake day. Chris don't. Never going to look at a pancake again.
Pancake Day? I did not know but am prepared. Friends gave us a gallon of maple syrup from Vermont. Have a terrific week Molly:-}
