Dug my potatoes up.
Picked a few tomatoes
A sweetcorn
A courgette or two
A handful of runner beans
And some beetroot.
Fat caterpillars polished off a bit more of my broccali
And O/H's storks line-danced in the sun.
Then it poured down so I went inside and put the kettle on ........
Your garden is growing well Molly.
ReplyDeleteThank you. Keep strong xx
DeleteThat's a lot of taters. We ate every one a friend gave us recently.
ReplyDeleteThey should last me most of the winter months ... and a few to give away.
DeleteYour garden is doing well. It all looks wonderful. The caterpillars are really enjoying your broccoli. Trust you are coping all right.
ReplyDeleteHi Sue. Yes really pleased with it - have given up on the caterpillars though.
DeleteI am jealous of your tomato plants. Although I got enough, the plants died early and few tomatoes were full size. All your other plants look wonderful also. The storks are a wonderful addition to the garden.
ReplyDeleteHi Arleen, that's a bit sad you lost your tomato plants. Weather conditions can have a lot to do with it
DeleteWhat a lot of lovely potatoes! it's so exciting and comforting too, to eat food you have grown and picked yourself. I love the storks.
ReplyDeleteI love those storks to. They're something my O/H made when he was well and I want to put them to music.
DeleteLike your header picture. I too sat there but I had a pint of Banks's Best Bitter and a 'big bag' of Black Country Pork scratchings. ;-)
ReplyDeleteYou garden produce looks much healthier. Perhaps one day I'll adopt a healthier diet.
Regards
Bernard
Hello Bernard. It's a lovely place to visit. Don't know what about the BBB but I could just fancy a big bag of BCP scratchings - delicious!!
DeleteLovely post. Made me smile. How wonderful to just step outside and glean those lovely goodies from your garden. I really like you header. Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteHello Bonnie. Thank you for your lovely comment. I love pottering in the garden.
DeleteMolly. what a nice harvest! I love beetroot as well to cook borsch. What do you cook with beetroot?
ReplyDeleteI also like your potatoes, they look healthy.
Have a nice week!
This is a really good idea that you have going on. manufacturing
