Day Trippers

We went on our annual day trip to Llandudno

 But it

...... down all day.

So we had a really nice pub lunch at Albert's, sat at a table by the window, watched the weather for 2 hours and then we came home.
 How was it for you?

    2. Actually, even though it was overcast, everything, well the hills at least looked so green and fresh. I think drought and everything burning up is so much worse so I don't mind the rain too much.

  3. We have some nice hot weather here that may be heading across the Atlantic soon. Last year we had extra rain and the leaves were spring green and clean all summer.

  9. Oh what a shame about the weather Molly........I think there's other parts of the countryside which would really appreciate it. Can't believe there's still hose pipe bans in some parts.....
Looks like a nice meal and I love being cocooned inside watching the weather outdoors.
Hope you get some sunshine over the weekend,

  10. We are going to Llandudno with friends for a five-day break in September. Hope the weather improves by then!
Meanwhile, it's difficult to plan ahead and we just go out taking a brolly...just in case. Today it looks pretty wild out there.
Hope you have a good weekend.

  14. we're opposite - severe drought and heat/humidity here. the plants are struggling to survive and farmers expecting no crops. I'm happy that things are green where you live, but why oh why does it seems to be feast or famine? you had a lovely day Molly - and that pub lunch is colorful and delicious looking. happy day to you dear Molly.
