Virginia Creeper |
We have a little galley kitchen which we are re-hashing. I under coated the window yesterday ready for tiling. The Virginia Creeper on the west wall crept in when the wind blew and left a shadow all across the wet paint.
Gosh! That's exciting! Hope you've had a riveting weekend too! Oh and Happy Father's Day to all you lovely Dads. Hope you got spoilt rotten!
Pretty shadow. Our day was about as exciting as watching paint dry.

ReplyDeleteI ONCE HAD A SHADOW
I once had a shadow—or did she have me?
My shadow and I could never agree.
I would say something, she’d say the reverse;
Our arguments flared, my lips I would purse,
Refusing to speak to her anymore—
So my shadow got up and marched out the door!
I have not seen her from that day to this—
That’s one stubborn shadow I surely don’t miss!

ReplyDeleteI hope the kitchen is coming along well Molly, I am trying so hard to be patient with the farmer as I live with my half finished extension into the kitchen, I hate upheaval but know it will be worth it in the end, so thinking of you and your kitchen.
