Had a quiet, poorly pussy cat this morning. Not touched her food and went missing for most of the day.

Anyway, she turned up again later this afternoon, drank a little of the water I gave her, had a few cuddles and then she  went to sleep in a warm, shaded spot in the poly tunnel. I also found quite a large very dead rat under the van. Looked as if they'd been doing battle, so whether that was the reason, I don't know.  I just hope that nobody had been putting poison down. She seems a bit better tonight.

Hope you like the video.

    1. Thanks Tom, she's better tonight. I'm wondering if her mouth is sore after her last tussle with the rat I found. She drank some milk tonight and seems to be getting back to her old self.

  2. What a fun video. Put an animal in a video, and people will smile.

I do hope someone would not be so cruel as to put poison out that could hurt somebody's pet. It is either heartless or stupid and probably both. I hope your cat is feeling better tomorrow.

  3. This is the problem with other people putting poison out for mice, rats, etc. They never know where the victims will end up.

    1. Fadgy's fine, eating everything in front of her, it's her daughter, Little One who's a bit off colour. She drank a small dish of milk tonight, so coming round again. Jane, thank you for your good wishes - will pass them on. Great to see you and B the other night xx

  5. ooh, I hope kitty is much better and the little one too. I hate it when pets are sick, and it is so hard to tell why.

  7. Hi Molly, I don't know how I missed this post before. I do hope that she is better now. Kim is much better - I think her main problem is all the cats around. I think she felt safer when Kath was here too.

I hope everything is going well on the health front.

  8. Hope both pussycat and hubs are on the mend. What would we do without the RSH.

When we drive to Newtown we go via the Anchor. I love that road from Clun to Newtown. A bit windy but very pretty.

  10. I hope kitty is a lot better now, possibly got a scratch or bite from the rat? Angel went off his food a couple of times, not really sure why, his appetite is better since I started letting him outside, he runs around more out there.
