On Friday 20th March, early morning, the sun shone to dazzling. By 9 am here it started to get darker and the shadows longer. By 9.30 am the birds stopped singing, the sheep stood rock still in the field over the way and I had to switch the light on. For a little while, the eerie silence of it all almost overwhelmed me and then a little while later, the sun came back, the birds sang and everything was OK again.
I love this song. Thank you for letting me share it with you.
Have a good week.
An eclipse is a powerful thing.
ReplyDeleteIt was cloudy here, all we saw was a brightish area behind the clouds.
ReplyDeleteWhere were you, to see a total eclipse, Moll?
ReplyDeleteLovely piece of music Molly - yes the eclipse was quite eerie we thought xx
ReplyDeleteWe did not get to see it here, and I envy you. I remember witnessing one when I was much younger and even though it was eerie, it was also exciting.
ReplyDeleteEva Cassidy is one of my favorite singers. Her voice and story touch my heart so and I have all the albums that they made after her death. This song is one of my favorites.
I missed it, too. Completely overcast that day.
ReplyDeleteIt was cloudy and overcast and I thought I wouldn't see it -- but if I had just gone outside I would have seen the clouds part a little and seen the eclipse it at its peak -- as did my husband and my son... Thanks for the music, Molly!
ReplyDeleteLovely song and the eclipse sounded magical!
ReplyDeleteCheers, Sandra
lovely song - thanks for sharing. I also like your description of the eclipse.
ReplyDelete(I was talking to a cousin in Oswestry this morning).
I saw everything you describe but somehow I still missed it. Over in Knighton they had a spectacular display.
ReplyDeleteThis sounds magical!
ReplyDeleteCheers, Sandra
I liked this music, Molly.
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter!
