July already

Been out weeding in the garden today. There's a weed mountain at the top of the garden.
All these grew on their own.

The clematis is scrambling over anything that gets in its way

The hardy geraniums have gone berserk

Oxe eye daisies and Geums quite happy amongst the Cranesbill and the odd nettle.

Hemerocallis just poised to burst forth. They should be out by tomorrow. I bought the first one from a church fete for ten pence, five or six years ago.

And the lilies I left in the clay pot are doing their thing, like they did last year. Nothing ever stands still does it!

  2. Last few months have been a bit hectic. Not had much chance to blog but still reading my favourites even if I haven't commented.

  6. Your flowers are beautiful, Molly. Things are blooming here too, but I fear my lilies may be lost this year. They look sick. Perhaps over crowding in the garden may be the problem. I am not much of a gardener, but love the blooms.

  7. It's wonderful how nature does its own thing and we can enjoy what's growing in the garden - not so much the weeds though. Good to hear from you!

  8. Nice to see a post from you popping up, Molly, and I'm glad your lovely flowers are thriving. My blogging has become very sporadic recently, so you're not alone in that.

  10. Very pretty! We've had so much rain here that everything is mostly green with hardly any blossoms. It's nice to see your beautiful flowers.

  11. Everything is so lovely in your garden, Molly.

I have been on vacation for a few weeks and came home to an over-grown, over-watered (due to constant rain) garden. Now I am out in a very humid forest that used to be all neat plants and pruned bushes getting eaten alive by bugs and trying to bring back a little order to my life. Times like this make me think about living in the city and having two potted plants.

  12. The rain doesn't take long to produce a 'rain forest.' I've been waging war on the weeds today and have ended up with 'Gardener's Back' which is a bit ouchy.

  13. Hi, Molly!
Yes, It's July already. But it's cold enough especially at nights. Your flowers grow and bloom despite of the weather.
