Ask-Your-Granny.com

My lovely granddaughter has just phoned me -
'Hello Granny it's me'.
'Hello Sweetheart, how's Uni?'
'Can't stop, I'm in Morrisons. Where's the pudding rice?'
'Usually next to the jams and custard'
'Great! Got it! See you!'
I'm left holding the receiver. Not bad considering that York is one hundred and fifty four miles away from where I live and I've never been there in my life. What do you say?

  4. I say that Granny always knows best, especially about pudding rice.

I've just seen my beautiful Green Eyes tonight, and she is looking good.

    It's all wonderful, eh?

    1. I taught her how to make (proper) rice pudding when she came to stay - that's what she's probably living on.

  10. What it says is that we live in boring times when supermarkets are the same whatever town you’re in.

  11. Thank goodness Morrisons has the same layout everywhere or her phone bill would be horrendous. I love the fact that she's actually cooking and not just living on junk food and takeaways.

    1. It would that. She's just sent me an email saying - I read your blog, Granny, but it was sweet. (Big sigh of relief, I didn't put my foot in it)
