Too Much Of A Good Thing

I thought I liked snow, but it's keeping on keeping on.

And Jack's cat would rather curl up in his favourite armchair by the fire too.
Roll on Spring.
PS
Check this - Torfaen Council called in an Elvis sound-alike to make this video - well I thought it was quite cool - yes? ( My big son services the gritter wagons to keep them rolling)

  1. And you need to make daily trips, so it must be a real nuisance by now, Molly. I gather there should be a change at the weekend but that doesn't help now.

  2. Snow...not my favourite substance. Poor little kitty...run and let him in quick.

  3. I'm growing too old for this. And apparently the animals have the same opinion.

  5. A lovely view from your window of the fields and hills. I hope you don't have to go out too often in this lingering snowy weather.

    1. This was from our neighbour's window. We're having to go to the hospital everyday except weekends - but nearly there now.

  6. Hi Molly, lovely view! the snow is worse there, it's melting here but a nasty East wind.

I agree, snow is lovely for the first few days, but it's stopping people getting about, I'm worried that my husband might get stuck in Derby and not get home on Thursday :-(

  7. Over here I'm wishing for autumn.
I hate the summer heat, although this year it hasn't been so hard to bear because we haven't had the humidity. Yet.

    1. The summer heat has been really bad for you - and those awful fires in Tasmania - a bit of snow is nothing to what you've had over in Oz.

  8. I guess most people love snow for the first 48 hours or so, but then cabin fever sets in! I now know why my grandmother couldn't cope with the Canadian winters...

  9. On a hopeful note, I spotted a clump of primroses on the riverbank yesterday. It won't be too much longer before we start spotting all the spring flowers.

  12. I like the picture of the forlorn cat, too. But you notice, if you let a cat in, they want out. If you let them out, they want in. Darn hard to please a cat!

  16. Enough already. I take it all back about the rain.
    Or maybe not.
Just give us some weather I can cope with.

  17. Oh Molly, you have me laughing out loud with this - it's too funny and cool. I wish we would get some snow here, but I hesitate to wish it too much, because as you say, the spigot may open and not turn off! Some snow is very beautiful but when you get more than usual, it can be a headache alright. At least the road crew has a sense of humor it seems. I truly do love your posts; I can very nearly count on it being my laugh of the day. you're the best.
take care now, and I hope it stops snowing for awhile.
