Hi Molly, even though it rained the lunch looks yummy..lovely to be able to leave a comment again, thank you for your visit to my blog xx
My internet is still terribly slow and I'm having trouble leaving comments but glad it managed to get through xx
That sounds lovely. Rain for two hours and lunch in a pub Molly.
I could have met you for coffee!!!what a rainy day its been!
Actually, even though it was overcast, everything, well the hills at least looked so green and fresh. I think drought and everything burning up is so much worse so I don't mind the rain too much.
John I thought about you while we were going by. It would be great to meet up sometime.
We have some nice hot weather here that may be heading across the Atlantic soon. Last year we had extra rain and the leaves were spring green and clean all summer.
I hope so - we had a month's rain today - floods everywhere.
All we have here is heat...I would love a good rainfall right now.
I hope it rains soon for you too Delores - too much heat is a lot worse.
We are much drier here except for the sweat pouring off of us. It is hotter than hades here.
Global warming? Bit scary isn't it!
Love Llandudno. We had some very welcome rain yesterday; but not enough. Maybe today will bring a bit more; fingers crossed!
Haddocks is looking good - we could grow rice here:(
It looks like you had a wonderful day Molly and a great lunch too!! Your pictures for just brilliant! Thank you for your comment, I only have 3 more treatments to go and am looking forward to being finished with that part of it all!
Donna, hope everything goes well for you xx
Molly - so glad you enjoyed your annual pilgrimage in spite of the rain. The pub lunch looks good. Rain forecast for today but it is clear and sunny (at present anyway).Take care.
It's nice to get out a bit even with it raining. Hope things are OK with you - will email soon xx
Oh what a shame about the weather Molly........I think there's other parts of the countryside which would really appreciate it. Can't believe there's still hose pipe bans in some parts.....Looks like a nice meal and I love being cocooned inside watching the weather outdoors.Hope you get some sunshine over the weekend,CLaire x
Oh Claire - we had a deluge today - flash floods everywhere so I'm glad we went when we did
We are going to Llandudno with friends for a five-day break in September. Hope the weather improves by then! Meanwhile, it's difficult to plan ahead and we just go out taking a brolly...just in case. Today it looks pretty wild out there.Hope you have a good weekend.
Have a lovely time when you go. The weather should improve? by then. Llandudno is nice even in the rain.
The rain it raineth every dayUpon the just and unjust fella,But on the just the most, becauseThe unjust’s got the justs’ umbrella!
Was wondering where it had gone.
Glad you enjoyed your trip despite the weather, Molly. It's much the same in Normandy, if that's any consolation.....
I think it's just nice to take time out sometimes whatever it's doing outside. Have a good trip.
We seem to be hard pushed to go anywhere this Summer without it raining. I'm glad you had a good lunch in the dry.
Yes it was nice.
we're opposite - severe drought and heat/humidity here. the plants are struggling to survive and farmers expecting no crops. I'm happy that things are green where you live, but why oh why does it seems to be feast or famine? you had a lovely day Molly - and that pub lunch is colorful and delicious looking. happy day to you dear Molly.
Rain, rain, go away . . . Right, it doesn't seem to be listening to you. What a pretty dish of food!
That sounds very familiar Molly! Will this rain ever stop I wonder.... but your garden looks incredibly lush and pretty.Jeannex
